    Purpose

    The Dev's Arena is dedicated to providing a safe, inclusive, respectful, and collaborative environment for everyone who participates in our community.

    This Code of Conduct exists to:

    • Ensure DevsArena remains a productive and welcoming space

    This Code of Conduct applies to all The Dev's Arena spaces, including but not limited to:

    • • Keep discussions relevant to community goals
    • • Respect time, effort, and boundaries of others
    • • Follow platform-specific rules and guidelines

    The following behaviors are not tolerated in The Dev's Arena:

    ❌ Harassment & Discrimination

    • • Harassment of any kind (verbal, written, visual)
    • • Discriminatory comments related to gender, race, religion, nationality, disability, or experience level
    • • Sexual language, imagery, or unwanted advances

    ❌ Toxic or Disruptive Conduct

    • • Personal attacks, insults, or threats
    • • Trolling, baiting, or deliberately derailing discussions
    • • Excessive negativity or hostile behavior

    ❌ Abuse of Community Platforms

    • • Spamming, advertising, or self-promotion without permission
    • • Sharing malicious links, malware, or pirated content
    • • Impersonation or misrepresentation of others

    ❌ Misuse of Authority

    • • Abuse of moderator or leadership roles
    • • Intimidation, coercion, or power misuse
    • • Retaliation against those who report concerns

    When contributing to The Dev's Arena projects or repositories:

    • Respect contribution guidelines
    • Give credit where it's due
    • Keep discussions focused on improving the project
    • Accept feedback gracefully
    • Avoid hostile or dismissive responses

    If you experience or witness behavior that violates this Code of Conduct:

    • •Report it to the The Dev's Arena moderation team
    • •Use official reporting channels or designated moderators
    • •Reports can be made confidentially
    • •Provide as much detail as possible to help investigation

    All reports will be taken seriously.

    Enforcement Actions

    The leadership and moderation team may take the following actions:

    • • Informal warning
    • • Official warning
    • • Temporary mute or suspension
    • • Removal from events or programs
    • • Permanent ban from the community

    Actions based on:

    • • Severity of the incident
    • • Repeated behavior
    • • Impact on the community

    Fairness & Accountability

    • Enforcement decisions will be made fairly and transparently
    • Retaliation against reporters is strictly prohibited
    • Moderators are expected to act impartially and professionally
    • Appeals may be considered at the discretion of the leadership team

    This Code of Conduct is a living document and may evolve as The Dev's Arena grows.
